What a year 2025 has been!

1. The Manta Rays Were Everywhere!
This year was an incredibly lucky year for ocean lovers. We had so many reports from guests who didn’t just see one Manta Ray—they saw 5, 10, or even 15 on a single snorkeling trip!
Seeing these gentle giants glide through the water at Manta Point is a memory that lasts a lifetime. It remains the undisputed #1 activity in our Nusa Lembongan travel guide, and in 2025, the ocean truly delivered.
2. The Sunsets Never Disappointed
Lembongan sunsets are famous for a reason, but 2025 gave us some of the most dramatic skies we have ever seen.
From the crashing waves at Devil’s Tears to the calm beanbags at the beach clubs in Jungutbatu, every evening felt like a new painting. We saw purples, oranges, fiery reds, and soft pinks reflected in the ocean. If you have photos on your phone from your trip this year, we bet they are stunning!
3. We Welcomed So Many New Friends

We saw so many new faces and welcomed back so many old friends to the island. We loved seeing:

4. The Island Stayed True to Itself
Even as the world gets busier and faster, 2025 proved that Lembongan has kept its magic.
We still had beautiful temple ceremonies filling the streets with music. The seaweed farmers were still working hard in the estuary. The island vibe stayed slow, smiling, and relaxed.
